Fees

Is there any funding available for the courses?

The following courses offered by Rolling Pineapple are eligible for SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding, with up to 70% funding support:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support + Automated External Defibrillator (Asynchronous & Practical)
  • CERT (Company Emergency Response Team) First Aid Training
  • Standard First Aid (NROC) (Async & Practical)

Funding is available for Singaporeans and Permanent Residentsand Long-Term Visit Pass Plus (LTVP+) holders.

Funding eligibility and support levels are subject to prevailing government policies and approval by the relevant authorities.

Can I use my SkillsFuture Credit for the course?

Eligible Singapore Citizens aged 25 years and above may use their SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) Opening Credit to offset course fees for eligible courses.

The SkillsFuture Credit Opening Credit of S$500 does not expire.

Please note that the one-off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up of S$500 introduced in 2020 expired on 31 December 2025 and is no longer available for use.

What happens if my funding application is rejected?

If any funding, subsidy, or grant is rejected, reduced, withheld, or subsequently recovered by the relevant authority, the learner and/or sponsoring company will be responsible for the outstanding course fees.

Can employers claim Absentee Payroll funding?

Eligible employers sponsoring employees for training may claim Absentee Payroll (AP) funding at a flat rate of S$4.50 per hour of attended training.

The maximum claimable amount is S$100,000 per enterprise per year, subject to prevailing government requirements and approval.

What happens if I fail the assessments?

All First Aid courses conducted by Rolling Pineapple are assessed in accordance with the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) competency standards.

In accordance with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding guidelines, funding is only claimable upon successful completion of the course and assessment.

If the learner does not meet the assessment requirements:

  • SSG funding will not be applicable, and
  • The full course fee will be billed to the individual or sponsoring company.

What Happens Next?

Once your registration has been successfully submitted, it will be processed by our team.

If your registration is accepted, a Course Confirmation Email will be issued confirming that:

  • your registration has been successfully confirmed;
  • your course slot has been reserved; and
  • where applicable, your e-learning access and course instructions are available.

For courses with an e-learning component, the Course Confirmation Email will also contain the necessary information to commence the e-learning.

An invoice will be issued separately before the course commencement date in accordance with our administrative and billing procedures.

Important Notice

By submitting your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by Rolling Pineapple's Terms & Conditions, including our Withdrawal, Cancellation, Refund, Rescheduling, Funding, Attendance, and Payment Policies.

The Course Confirmation Email confirms your reserved course slot. The issuance or timing of an invoice is an administrative process only and does not affect the validity of a confirmed registration or any obligations arising under our Terms & Conditions.

If you have any questions regarding your registration, please contact us as soon as possible.

A participant wishing to withdraw a registration prior to the issuance of a Course Confirmation Email must notify Rolling Pineapple immediately in writing. Rolling Pineapple reserves the right to accept or reject such requests, taking into account whether administrative processing, seat allocation, funding verification, trainer scheduling or other preparatory work has already commenced.

Why do I need to provide my full NRIC number when registering?

As a SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)-approved training provider, we are required to collect your full NRIC number for courses that are eligible for funding or submission to national records. Hereโ€™s why your NRIC is required:

  • Identity Verification: To confirm your eligibility for SkillsFuture funding and to ensure correct enrolment records.
  • Audit & Compliance: SSG mandates training providers to maintain full NRICs for auditing and regulatory reporting purposes.
  • Disbursement of Funds: Accurate NRIC details are needed to process training grant disbursements or reimbursements through platforms like PayNow (linked to NRIC).
  • Official Records: Your NRIC is used to issue nationally recognized certificates and for submission to MySkillsFuture or Training Partner Gateway systems.

I made a mistake in my registration details. Can I create a new account with the same email or NRIC?

No, each participant can only have one account per email address or NRIC number in our system. Once an account is created, the email and NRIC are linked to that profile, so a new account cannot be created using the same email or NRIC, even if other details are different.

If there are any errors in your registration details, please contact us via WhatsApp at +65 9679 2945 as soon as possible so we can assist you with the changes.

Certificate

How long does it take for certification to be sent out?

Certificates will be issued within one (1) weeks upon:

  • Successful completion of attendance and assessment requirements; and
  • Full payment of all applicable fees.
Will I receive a certificate if I fail the assessment?

No. Certification is only awarded to learners who successfully meet the required competency standards.

Can Rolling Pineapple withhold certificates?

Yes. Rolling Pineapple reserves the right to withhold certificates, until all outstanding fees and administrative requirements have been satisfied.

Who can attend your courses?

Our courses are open to individuals, corporate teams, and organizations looking to improve safety awareness and first aid proficiency.

What are the attendance requirements for your courses?

To successfully complete a course, participants must meet the following attendance requirements:

  • For courses with e-learning components, a minimum of 75% of the online content must be completed.
  • For practical, face-to-face sessions, full attendance is required.
  • Overall, participants must complete at least 75% of all course sessions, with practical sessions attended to completion, to be eligible for assessments and certification.
What if I have a medical condition, injury, or cannot perform some activities (e.g. kneeling or CPR)?

Participants with any medical condition, injury, or physical limitation are responsible for assessing their ability to participate before registration.

Physical inability, discomfort, or injury that affects participation does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund, waiver, or free rescheduling and will be handled under the Withdrawal, Refund & Rescheduling Policy.

Participants are advised not to register if they are unable to safely participate in the required practical components.

What payment methods do you accept?

    All bank charges and intermediary fees shall be borne by the payer.

    • Payments made via Stripe are subject to a 4.0% processing fee.
    • By selecting this payment method, the payer:
      • Acknowledges and agrees to the inclusion of the processing fee in the total payable amount;
      • Accepts that Rolling Pineapple shall not be responsible for declined transactions, processing delays, chargebacks, or card issuer restrictions.
  • SkillsFuture Credit:

    Participants intending to utilise SkillsFuture Credit must:

    • Submit claims via www.myskillsfuture.gov.sg prior to course commencement.
    • Follow invoice instructions to input the correct Course ID and claimable amount.

    Important:

    • Claims must be successfully approved before course commencement.
    • Non-attendance, late cancellation, or failure to complete the course will result in the full course fee being payable by the trainee.
    • Rolling Pineapple is not responsible for rejected or unsuccessful claims due to incorrect submission or ineligibility.

Withdrawal, Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

What happens if I cancel or do not attend the course?

All withdrawal, cancellation, and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to Rolling Pineapple via rps.admin@rollingpineapple.com.sg

Please include:

  • Full Name
  • Course Title
  • Course Date
  • Reason for the request

Verbal requests, WhatsApp messages, SMS messages, or phone calls will not be regarded as a valid withdrawal, cancellation, or rescheduling request unless confirmed in writing by Rolling Pineapple.

Cancellation Charges

The applicable cancellation charge is determined based on the date Rolling Pineapple receives the written request.

Important Note on Subsidised Course Fees

Government subsidies, SkillsFuture Credit, and other funding support are only applicable upon successful attendance and completion of the course.
Participants who withdraw, fail to attend, fail to complete the course, or otherwise become ineligible for funding will be liable for the applicable course fees under this Policy.
"Full Course Fee" refers to the standard published course fee before any applicable government subsidies, funding support, or SkillsFuture Credit usage.

Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule must be submitted at least five (5) working days before the course commencement date and are subject to course availability.
Requests received less than three (3) calendar days before the course commencement will be treated as late cancellations.

Where approved:

  • Complimentary rescheduling is granted solely at Rolling Pineapple's discretion.
  • A maximum of one (1) complimentary reschedule may be granted.
  • Further rescheduling requests may incur administrative fees.
  • Failure to attend a rescheduled course may be treated as a No-Show.

What happens if I am unwell, injured, or otherwise unable to attend the course?

If you are unable to attend due to illness, injury, work commitments, family emergencies, travel disruption, or any other personal circumstances, your request will be handled in accordance with the standard Withdrawal, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy above.
Supporting documents (such as medical certificates) may be requested for verification purposes only.

Please note that submitting supporting documents does not automatically entitle a participant to:

  • a refund;
  • a waiver of applicable fees;
  • complimentary rescheduling; or
  • any exception to the published policy.

Failure to attend the course, regardless of the reason, will be treated as non-attendance and the applicable cancellation charges or Full Course Fee may apply in accordance with this Policy.

Any exception or goodwill arrangement is granted solely at the discretion of Rolling Pineapple and shall not constitute a precedent or entitlement for future requests.

Appeals, Failed Assessments & Re-assessment

Can I appeal my assessment result?

Yes. Learners may submit a formal appeal if they believe there were valid procedural grounds that affected their assessment outcome. All appeals are reviewed strictly in accordance with SRFAC assessment standards and internal quality assurance procedures.

Please note:

  • Appeals must be submitted in writing within 3 calendar days from the assessment date.
  • A non-refundable administrative fee of SGD 50 is required upon submission.
  • Appeals submitted without payment will not be processed.
  • Appeals must clearly state the grounds for appeal (e.g. procedural irregularities during assessment).

Appeals based on:

  • Personal expectations;
  • Disagreement with competency standards; or
  • Requests for discretionary passing
How do I submit an appeal?
To submit an appeal, please ensure the following:
  • Submit your appeal in writing within 3 calendar days of your assessment date.
  • Clearly explain the procedural issue or concern relating to the assessment process.
  • Include any relevant supporting information or evidence.
  • Pay the required SGD 50 non-refundable administrative fee upon submission.
The administrative fee covers the review of:
  • Assessment records;
  • Instructor reports;
  • CCTV footage (where applicable); and
  • Supporting evidence and witness statements.

Appeals without payment will not be processed.

What are the possible outcomes of an appeal?
Your appeal may result in one of the following outcomes:
  • Assessment result upheld - your original assessment result remains unchanged.
  • Re-assessment required - learners must retake the full course and applicable fees will apply.
  • Assessment overturned - the original assessment outcome is revised following review.
Important NotesThe review process may include:
  • Review of CCTV footage;
  • Instructor testimony; and/or
  • Statements from other learners where necessary.

Only appeals with valid and substantiated procedural grounds will be considered. All decisions are final and made in compliance withSRFAC standards and internal quality assurance procedures.
Appeal outcomes will be released within one (1) month from the date of submission.
