Course Overview
TGS Number -2025060632This course is recognised by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the CPR + AED module is accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).
It is designed to equip participants with essential first aid knowledge and practical skills to respond confidently in emergencies, including performing CPR on adults and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively.
The programme also prepares participants to respond to workplace medical emergencies as part of a Company Emergency Response Team (CERT), meeting the training requirements for CERT members across all tiers under the Fire Safety (Emergency Response Plan and Fire Safety Managers) Regulations.
In addition, this training fulfils the requirements for CERT First Aider refresher courses. Fire Safety Managers (FSMs) who complete the course will also be awarded 10 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

This course is suitable for individuals assigned to workplace emergency response roles, including:

From 2017 onwards, each Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) is required to have a minimum of four trained first aiders as part of compliance requirements.
Course Language
Entry Requirement
Participants should be physically fit to render first aid during emergencies and capable of performing CPR.
Participants must be able to understand, read, write, and comprehend basic English, as all course materials and assessments are conducted in English.
