This course is accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) and recognised by the National Registry of Coaches (NROC) and the National Registry of Exercise Professionals (NREP) under Sport Singapore. It is a mandatory requirement for sports coaches and exercise professionals in Singapore to obtain or renew their coaching licence under SportSG.

Participants will be empowered to perform effective adult CPR, administer first aid, and operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and correctly—skills that can make a critical difference when every second counts.

When to take refresher

SRFAC guidelines

Under Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) guidelines, you can take your refresher course starting 3 months before and up to 3 months after your certificate's expiry date.

Expiring within 3 months — You're eligible
You can register for and attend the re-certification course up to 3 months before your expiry date, so your certification remains valid without any lapse.
Expired within the last 3 months — You're still eligible
Your previous certificate has expired and is no longer valid. However, under SRFAC renewal requirements, you may still enrol in the refresher course within 3 months after the stated expiry date.
Expired More Than 3 Months
If your certification expired more than 3 months ago, you must retake the full provider course instead of the refresher course.

Entry Requirement

Participants should be physically fit to render first aid during emergencies and capable of performing CPR.
Participants must be able to understand, read, write, and comprehend basic English, as all course materials and assessments are conducted in English.

Upon passing the assessment, certificate will be issued via email within 1 week. Certification is valid for 2 years.
